A year in a life.
Madeline Schichtel recorded a tiny video every day for a year, cut each day down to a second and produced what you see above: a glimpse of moments big, small, intimate and cinematic.
This reminds me a little of those flashbacks people in movies always see before they die. It also lends a sense of how quickly life moves, lending bigger context to the digital generation’s compulsion to archive it.
Also, isn’t this so much better than going through somebody’s scrapbook while waiting for them to come back with the goddamn coffee?
